Join Wonderland Avenue Elementary as we help set the World Record for summer reading!  Visit the site www.scholastic.com/bookfairs/record/  to find out how you can record your reading minutes starting in May and lasting all summer long, plus other tips on how to set the World Record.  First, click on Join the Challenge Now, then Go, then Join Now and afterwards enter your information (be sure to print out your screen name and password or write it down!)  After you answer some questions, you will be assigned to a color team.  Later, when you go on to log in your minutes, you will see Do you want your minutes to count toward the World Record Challenge?, answer Yes and then enter your school information.  Now you are reading for Wonderland Elementary!

The best part is the record will be published in the

2010 Scholastic Book of World Records

The top 20 schools with the most minutes read will also be featured in the book.

If we reach the top 20, our principal, Mr. Wilson, has promised a really special celebration when we come back to school in the fall.
