
Friends of Wonderland is the non-profit fundraising organization comprised of parent volunteers.
FOW must raise approximately $350,000 each year to pay for the basics in education which are not provided by the L.A. Unified School District, including:
- Physical Education coach & equipment
- Music teacher & equipment
- Art teacher, materials & equipment
- Classroom Aides
- Library books & materials
- Supplemental curricular materials
- Instructional technology, classroom computers & equipment
- General school supplies
- Professional development for faculty
- Facility improvements & campus beautification
To provide these essentials, FOW organizes the annual fall Pledge Drive, the spring Silent Auction, eScrip, corporate sponsorship, and many other events that raise money while bringing our school community closer.
As state and federal funds decline, FOW’s fundraising efforts become increasingly more important as a means of maintaining and advancing our school’s achievement.

MEETINGS SCHEDULE:
FOW meets in the Teacher’s Lounge from 3:30-5:30pm on the first Wednesday of every month from October 7, 2009 – June 2, 2010. The meetings are open to all and the minutes are posted online.
