Wonderland Avenue School’s PTA serves as an advocacy group for our children, teachers and school. PTA provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students.
PTA collaborates on projects that benefit children and bring valuable resources to its members. The PTA has been responsible for implementing the Library Restoration Project and playground improvements. PTA provides valuable parent workshops and other community programs. The PTA also assists Friends of Wonderland in several ongoing fundraisers. Here are just some of the events the PTA organizes and sponsors:
Parent Education School Assemblies Volunteer Coordination Teacher Appreciation
Food Drives Halloween School Safety Communications
Cultural Events Book Fair Sports Day Room Parents
Join Wonderland’s PTA. Membership is open to anyone. Cost of membership is $10 per person. You can join by picking up a membership envelope in the school office. Every person who joins PTA is automatically a member of both the State and National PTAs. Together we are a powerful voice for our children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA’s goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child. Every PTA is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
Visit the National PTA website here to see membership benefits.
PTA meetings are held on the first Monday of the month. (If the first Monday is a holiday, then meetings will be held on the second Monday.) Check the event calendar on the Home Page for specific dates and times. All meetings are open and the minutes are posted online.
