Welcome to another great school year! The 2009-2010 Friends of Wonderland (FOW) Annual Giving Fund Drive is underway, and Wonderland needs financial support from parents now more than ever.
Unfortunately, there is no longer such a thing as a free public education at the level provided by Wonderland. Because of our fundraising efforts, we are able to pay for teacher’s assistants in all classrooms; a full-time PE teacher, art, and part-time music teachers; all technology in the classrooms (including computers and SMART Boards); and many other programs that round out our children’s education.
It goes without saying that there is no better investment than your child’s education, but please know that your contribution to Friends of Wonderland is tax deductible. We are asking for 100% parent participation. We know that these are challenging financial times, so challenging that they have significantly affected our schools and what LAUSD is willing to fund. Please dig as deeply as you can for Wonderland and our kids. The rewards will last forever.
